Our Founder’s Vision

Jennifer LaCasse, the heart and soul behind NFHC, embodies a vision of holistic healing and transformative growth. Armed with a Master of Social Work Advanced Clinical Practice degree from Saint Leo University, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. She has accrued 7 years of professional experience in diverse community mental health settings. Jennifer’s journey began by assisting children and adolescents, gradually expanding to encompass adults grappling with mental health and substance use challenges. Through her unwavering dedication, she advanced from a front-line provider to roles such as team lead, program director, and vice president in a prominent community mental health agency.

Jennifer’s experience culminated in the founding of North Florida Health Center, driven by her passion for facilitating profound change in people’s lives. With a commitment to ethical practice, client-centered care, and innovation, Jennifer envisions NFHC as a haven where individuals and families can rebuild their lives and embrace their inherent strengths.
